Dear Road Rally Supporters,
We very sincerely appreciate your attendance at one or
all of our past six Historic Road Rally of the Kennebunks events!
Our participation has grown through the years and we've enjoyed seeing everyone
return through the years.
We had planned a very special event this year, and were
moving the date to the Saturday of Labor Day weekend because, unbelievably,
there are not a lot of events locally to compete with that weekend! However,
due to challenges in scheduling and the scope of the overall changes, we regret
that we are not going to hold the event this year. We are
absolutely planning on a wonderful event in 2012, in which we
will hold the rally, as usual, in conjunction with a first annual Concours d'
Elegance, complete with music, local artists, and interesting speakers.
We are assembling a board to help us with the
expansion, and our hope is to make this a true destination event to support our
community and non-profits, without losing the intimate, fun feel that the rally
portion has always had.
While we are disappointed about breaking our string of
events, we are excited to see everyone in 2012!
The 2010 Rally results are in and posted.
With warm regards,Brian Prichard, Founder The Historic Road Rally of the Kennebunks...

The Kennebunks Road Rally, now in its fifth year, lets you enjoy classic sports car driving at its most exhilarating.
Enjoy a September day of driving fun, an informal sports car show. Proceeds from the event benefit non-profit organizations in the Kennebunks.
Rallying is simple, entertaining, easy on your car yet exciting to your spirit. The route starts in Kennebunkport, ME, and takes you through the villages and towns of Kennebunk, W. Kennebunk and Arundel. These classic Maine roads wend their way through beguiling villages, past historic homes, working farms, meadows and forest along the rocky coast of Maine.
Kennebunkport is easy to reach in southern Maine, midway between Portland and Portsmouth, NH. It's an easy 2 hours from Boston and only 6 hours from New York City. Whether you're joining the rally for a day or planning a fall vacation trip, the Kennebunk region will provide a memorable experience.
